McGarrett's Secretary, "Thanks honey"

I recently started watching my season one episodes again and something sticks out that I had forgotten.

McGarrett enters the outer office and his secretary trails after him with his phone messages and usually a cup of coffee.

His usual reply in the first episodes is either, "Thanks honey" or "Thanks sweetie". Several times he kisses her on the cheek as he is leaving.

I'm not trying to be critical. It was typical of the sixties. This was a show made in a different era. But it makes me laugh to think of a boss kissing his secretary or calling her "honey" in the office nowadays. Even if it was meant as innocently as the way McGarrett did it, can you imagine the sexual harassment lawsuits?

Also I wish that just once his secretary would've said, "Why don't you give Kono a kiss when you leave? Or ask Dan Williams, 'Would you book 'em Danno sweetie?' "
