Casting for remake

I know this definitely shouldn't be remade, but if it was my casting would be

Kevin Spacey as George
Helen Mirren as Martha
Paul Rudd as Nick
and probably Carey Mulligan as Honey

reply

Paul Rudd is 44 years old... no way.

If the movie were to be remade in 1995, then I can sort of imagine it, but that would make Carey Mulligan 10 years old. Helen Mirren.....hmmmm...well.... I guess, maybe.

Even Kevin Spacey looks his age, 55.

Now I know why you picked Spacey. American Beauty. However, if they had remade WAOVW instead of making AB, I think Kevin and Annette Benning would be great for the parts of George and Martha.

Nick... would possibly be.... Edward Norton? (this is if the movie were remade in 1999)

Honey.... Sarah Jessica Parker (when she was a lot younger)
and somehow Anna paquin comes to mind. I think she can really play it.

WARNING: I'M SEXY!

Their age doesn't matter too much, what matters is what age can they play.

I agree with Edward Norton, he would've been good. In fairness, it's not too important who should play Honey, there's so many actress' who could pull that off.

I think Annette Bening is far too loud and annoying to play Martha. She's suppose to be slightly bubbly and middle-aged looking.

George clooney as George
Julianne Moore as Martha
Ryan gosling as nick
Blake lively as honey

reply

Peter Sarsgaard as George
Patricia Arquette as Martha
Emile Hirsch as Nick
Juno Temple or Sarah Hagan as Honey

reply

George- Kevin Spacey!
Martha- Kate Winslet or Cate Blanchett
Nick- I know they might be too old, but Chris Evans or Bradley Cooper
Honey- Jennifer Lawrence honestly would be a great Martha many years from now. For Honey, I'm not so sure...

reply

George: Kevin Spacey or George Clooney would both be great.
Martha: Julianne Moore or Kate Winslet. Of course, Meryl Streep could do it too, despite her being a little old for the part.
Nick: Matt Bomer or Ryan Gosling. Jake Gyllenhaal would also be fantastic.
Honey: maybe Jessica Chastain or Anna Kendrick.

If this were remade 20 years from now, Jennifer Lawrence would be a perfect Martha!

reply

I think James Spader would do well as George.

reply

George - James Spader
Martha - Vera Farmiga
Nick - Freddie Highmore
Honey - Juno Temple

reply

George - Jay Z
Martha - Beyonce
Nick - Drake
Honey - Taylor Swift

Ok ok. Its a joke but once you imagine them actually speaking the lines it works in a wonderful horrible way.

reply

Lol..I can imagine. I guess I'll go with Kevin Spacey, Kate Winslet, Paul Rudd and Carey Mulligan.
