Is this appropriate for kids?

I heard that this was rated "R". Is that true? I'm wondering if this is appropriate for kids.

I first saw this movie in the drive-in (for you young people, that's an outdoor theater that had a giant screen and you watched from your car. Lol) with my family when I was 8. Nothing inappropriate at all.

LOL. funny you had to put that explanation in there. I wonder how many wouldn't know what a Drive-In is. (Although to be fair there are still some around except in New Jersey where they originated.)

It's not rated "R" and the first time I saw it, I was a kid. It's a fun movie with lots of laughs.

Hardly R material, but I think it would make a better impression with older kids than little ones. I wouldn't classify this as a family movie though-- more of a lighthearted romp for grownups.
