Nice Early Milian Performance
Milian’s performance really made the film for me here. The storyline was really pretty straightforward and slowly but steadily built tension till its climax, made all the better by Cipriani’s score. By the time the final scene begins you’re really wanting Milian’s character to get what he deserves. Would also like to mention that the gunplay seemed a bit more realistic than the norm of later Italian westerns. I was not familiar with the director, Eugenio Martin’s works but I’ll definitely check out his filmography now.
