Dont Drink, Don't Smoke....What Do You Do?
Did anyone else catch that exchange when Francoise Hardy first appears? Is it acknowledged as inspiring that Adam Ant song or is it coincidence?

I was thinking the same thing...
shareI don't drink, I don't smoke and I don't swear. "OH S*** I'VE LEFT MY FAGS DOWN THE PUB"!!! just joking!!!:-)
shareGood catch! I wonder if it was an expression before Grand Prix was released. There are a lot of expressions I heard before certain people were notorious for saying/singing them, but many people give them credit for inventing the expressions even though I know those expressions existed long before they said/sung them (if that makes sense, lol).
I doubt if that was an original line. But I'm positive that Francoise Hardy's delivery made my 16yo knees quiver!
shareThat line stood out..

She doesn't drink, she doesn't smoke, she doesn't dance, and I'm guessing this condom in my pocket wont get any action from her either.
shareDon't forget, it wasn't a single line, she was simply answering Antonio Sabato's questions. But, yes, when the song came out, I thought of Grand Prix.
shareIt's mentioned twice in the movie.
Once from the random girl in the pub the Nino approached.
Second from the young girl going out with Nino, as she was approached by the American on a moped at an outdoor café.
