shareI'm hoping you didn't publish that website b/c it looks like it was created using Geocities, which I thought went out of business.

Black Christmas (1974)
shareI thought you might chime in. For me it’s still The Woman in Black (1989).
shareVery good movie though I thought The Innocents (1961) was superior and scarier in that sort of ghostly supernatural sub-genre.
I finally watched the remake of The Woman in Black from 2012 a few weeks back, it was just okay, not on the same level as the original.
For me Black Christmas wins out over all because it has a scare retention that is almost unmatched. Most horror movies get less scary upon every rewatch but BC has such a strong eery and creepy atmosphere that doesn't diminish. There are other movies out there that hold up, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974) being one notable example that has a strong atmosphere regardless of how often you see it, but I think Black Christmas is the creepiest of them.
Rosemary's Baby was the only one that managed to creep me when I was a kid, not even The Exorcist did, even though I like it a lot too.
