I HAVE SPENT THE LAST FIVE YEARS LOOKING FOR A DVD COPY OF THE LOVED ONE. ANYBODY KNOW OF ONE? FAILING THAT, A GOOD VIDEO COPY WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE. WILL PAY A GOOD (NOT EXORBITANT!!) PRICE FOR IT..

Could you be more specific about "The Loved One" being available on Blu-ray? It's available now - a genuine, not copied from tv, dvd. Just google it. By the way, there's an interesting 15 min making of doc in special features that's entertaining too.
