Is film worth a watch?

I'm a huge fan of Stanley Kubrick and I want to watch more of his films. (I've only seen five.) Is Lolita any good? Should I give it a watch? I don't care about the subject matter. I just want to know if it's a good film. That's all.

If it can be thought, it can be filmed.

When Lolita aired in movie theaters in 1962 no one under age 18 was allowed into the theaters. Sue Lyon at age 14 wasn't even allowed to attend the premiere. So when it finally aired on TV many of us who were too young to see it in 1962 were disappointed that there was no sex or nudity in the movie. What made it an "adults only" movie back then was the subject matter of a middle aged man lusting after an underage teen girl. However it was indeed a great movie with a most wonderful cast. Like Hitchcock's PSYCHO it must be seen in it's entirety from beginning to end. BTW there are differences between movie and book but that's another story altogether!
