Baby in a cage?

Why was the youngest son in a pad locked, wooden cage? It doubled as the dog kennel! WTF? Is that what people did back in the day?

Oh, for chrissakes, it's only a movie, and a comedy. It's a joke, it's funny, and most of you are being absurdly ridiculous. This is taking PC to new levels of craziness.

Joan Crawford used to tie her son up in a contraption called a "Sleep Safe" which I think they use in Lunatic Asylums nowadays for only the most incorrigible inmates.

Yes, things have changed since then...thank God.

And personally, I think Doris Day was making excuses that her son could pick any lock known to mankind to cover for her child abuse.

She just had her hands full.

Bravo. People look for ways to be offended so that they can show their PC friends that they are so advanced.

"Victor, what are we going to do to stop this fiendish tit?"
