Is this the weakest of all 'Classic' Disney films?
I know it's a kid's film, but even still the movie has a way too flawed storyline and compared to other Disney films it's just predictable and full of Disney movie cliches.

The thing I have never figured out about Sleeping Beauty that makes it the weakest of the classic Disney Princess films is why in the movie did Briar Rose tell the truth about Prince Phillip and the fairies told her that she was already betrothed to Prince Phillip when Briar Rose /Aurora should've kept it a secret and said that he was just a friend of hers. Another thing about the movie is when Aurora returns to the castle after the fairies gave her her crown Aurora starts crying about "what else" Prince Phillip and if I was a girl I would NOT be crying about never meeting my crush again and one of the fairies should've calmed Aurora down and comforted her and that would've been fine
