What rating did you give for Vertigo?
I gave it a 10/10. It's the only Hitchcock film I've given a perfect rating because I really love the film. It's in my top 5 favourite films of all time. How about you?

share8/10 Scotties fixation into turning her into Madelime bumped it up to an 8 from a 7 for me.
You'll learn to hate me/ But still call me baby/ OhLove/ So call me by my name
Vertigo was only the second Hitchcock film that I've seen and after having watched "Psycho", I had high hopes for this. I know that most people consider "Vertigo" a masterpiece, but, to be honest, I was rather disappointed. The plot, as a whole, was interesting and the twist was clever, but the execution baffled me at multiple points throughout the film. The romance between the two stars was not very convincing, the way Scottie tried to make Judy, a woman he had just met, an exact copy of Madeleine and her totally accepting it was absurd, plus the ending happened so fast that it ended up looking rather comical.
I gave it a 7/10.
i can't recall ever seeing a movie packed with so much great photography, greatest shots of the golden gate, the suspense of her falling into the san francisco bay was ruined a bit for me cause i have read it in a plot description. i felt he should have just settled with marjorie.
golden light strike through cloud,
feel like going home now,
step on the rail to out of town,
tired of being a stranger drifting around,
resting with friends in christ,
from the rat race ive been taken out,
take my hand lead me to the righteous path,
to the light out of this barren land.
9/10

I really liked it though
It used to be a 9/10 for me. But after my most recent viewing, I bumped it up to a 10. The older I get, the more I appreciate the film. So weird and beautiful.

Hitchcock's presentation and story build-up is spellbinding, combined with Bernard Herrmann's soundtrack -- which is well-paced, mysterious and dizzy. An OST I enjoy listening to independently as well. The cinematography is stunning and easy on the eye. Colors feel at times beautifully radiant. The production sets occasionally give me the feeling as if it's something I would see in my dreams, something so obvious and off, but that only amplifies and adds to the overall surrealness of this film.
If I had to choose a weak link, it would be the acting -- which is still solid. But that is only if one needs to be absolutely picky, by breaking down every category of this production, and even then it does not manage to budge this masterpiece that it is, from the Mount Rushmore of cinema.
10/10. One of the greatest films ever made, in my opinion.
8.5-9
I felt it could have been longer towards the end.
