Whats your top 3 Kurosawa films?
I'd have to say
1. Seven Samurai
2. Hidden Fortress
3. Yojimbo
3 is a close tie with Rashomon but Yojimbos just so damn cool!
WATCH "I WAS A TEENAGE ZOMBIE" Excellent B horror/comedy!

Geez, for awhile there I thought nobody was going to mention "Yume (Dreams,)" but finally one person did. "Dreams" isn't just my favorite Kurosawa film, it's my favorite movie of all time.
After that, "Seven Samurai" is an easy choice for #2. #3 is a lot tougher, torn between "Kagemusha" and "Ikiru" for that, but I think for now I'll go with the former. That could change any time, though. And there's still a few of Kurosawa's I've never seen.
EDITED TO ADD: Honorable Mention should at least be made for "Runaway Train." It doesn't really qualify as a Kurosawa film, but that is one helluva spectacularly underrated fine film.
"I don't deduce, I observe."
1. Ran
2. Seven Samurai
Number three really is a difficult choice to narrow down and I can't choose between the two that I'd consider fairly equal for that position so...
3. Throne Of Blood or Kagemusha.
