I am bored of lists that include only American(and,furthermore mostly new ones) films and ignore so many masterpieces,so I decide to make another poll,which I think will be more serious,will include most of the great movies(especially the foreign ones) and will be more representitive of the history of cinema.So,if you want to see that list(maybe it will be a top 100)post your top 10 in one of my topics.I'll start with mine:

5. Ivan the Terrible (parts 1,2)
6. Ran
7. Das Boot
8. Empire Strikes Back
9. Schindler's List
10. 2001 A Space Odyssey

I am fairly certain of my top three, but the rest is more of a crap shoot with maybe ten other films my mind simply isn't free to pick in its current state.

1. The Shining (Kubrick)
2. Ikiru (Kurosawa)
3. Grave of the Fireflies (Takahata)
4. Persona (Bergman)
5. Goodfellas (Scorsese)
6. The Good the Bad and the Ugly (Leone)
7. 2001: A Space Odyssey (Kubrick)
8. Spirited Away (Miyazaki)
9. Casablanca (Curtiz)
10. The Third Man (Reed)

In fact, ignore the order after #3.
