Anybody else hate that whistling?
Seriously, it kept me from watching the movie for years.
shareNo. It's just you.
shareThe whistling in the movie doesn't bother me--in fact, I like it, but do understand what you're driving at.
I am a Life Member of the Art Students League in NYC, and I can clearly remember this obnoxious jerk who would whistle LOUDLY whenever the model took a break.
It was so bad that monitors from other studios would complain about him.
I haven't been to the League in 20 years, so I have no idea what became of this jerk.
But it wouldn't surprise me if he was dead.
NO.
shareNo it's the most memorable thing from the film. I find it endearing.
shareYes, it did grate on me... once was enough to hear it!
"Your mother puts license plates in your underwear? How do you sit?!"
No.
shareThat was part of the plan.
"It's the system, Lara. People will be different after the Revolution."
yes and no.
I didn't hate the fact that it was there, I just hate those two overly harsh notes near the end of the first line ( the "got one" part if you want to match it to the lyrics).
And how those two overly harsh notes are magnified by the fact that they just kept replaying the same recording of the whistling over...and over...and over...
No. I love it.
