Does Hamilton Burger never win a case ever??

I'm really surprised he hasn't thrown himself off a bridge by the end of the series...

Do you reckon he's more of an absurdly tragic figure? Or an inspiringly heroic figure, showing dogged persistence in the face of insurmountable odds?

As was mentioned, he wins when he prosecutes the murder whom Mr. Mason uncovered.

He also wins a lot of other cases because of things Mr. Mason uncovers. He gets people on charges from withholding or tampering with evidence, hindering a police investigation, and perjery, to charges of theft, blackmail, and accessory to murder. One loss to Mr. Mason could lead to several convictions.

He's a "hamburger" -- ground up -- useless --
