Was I The Only One . . .

Who wondered as a kid about this rich "Jackson Queens" guy the Mavericks were living on in the theme song?

'Course, I also thought we were pledging allegiance "to the Republic for Richard Stands," and that Paladin's first name was "Wire."

"I thought I told you to come alone."

It's now that time of year where we'll hear old standard Christmas tunes being cranked out everywhere we go -- like the one that makes reference to one "Olive, the other reindeer" who used to laugh and call Rudolph names.

No, you weren't. I remember having a very heated argument with my brother, when I tried to explain that is was "jacks and queens". He was pretty young at the time, and just could not understand the reference to cards.

Great show. I'm watching it right now on MeTV, and loving every moment.

Yes, that is how I thought the song went. It's good to know someone else heard it the same way.

This is sorta lame, but I've always enjoyed our Mexican National Anthem --
"Jose, can you see ...."

I also wondered about Mr. Jackson Queens.

I also had problems remembering the theme song to Wyatt Earp:
