Any Other Movies That Are Set During This Time in Mexican History?

The only other I know of is Sam Peckinpah's Major Dundee.

Any more?

There is the 1939 film Juarez, where Bette Davis plays the Empress Charlotte/Carlotta

Brian Aherne has the greatest set of sideburns in that film.

"The Undefeated" (1969).

Gary Cooper's "Garden of Evil" (1954) was shot in Mexico back-to-back with "Vera Cruz," but I don't know if it was the same general time in Mexican history, 1866.

"The Wild Bunch" (1969) takes place mostly in Mexico 47 years later in 1913, but it has some similarities to "Vera Cruz."

Likewise, "100 Rifles" takes place in Sonora, Mexico, in 1912.

One of my favorite westerns ever: "El Condor" with Lee Van Cleef and Jim Brown. It's about two American outlaws who try to take a Mexican fortress full of gold with the help of 100 Apaches. Also, Yul Brynner's film, "Adios, Sabata" aka "Indio Black" is set at this time.

I haven't seen that one yet; I'll put it on my watchlist, thanks.
