Favorite Disney Heroine/Princess dress?

I LOVED Mulan's dresses. The one she wore at the end to try and stop Shan-Yu, and the one when she was going to meet her matchmaker. (the one with pink sleeves, not the one with green sleeves at at the VERY beginning)

I also liked Ariel's blue dress, and Aurora's peasant dress. They're both very simple, but so beautiful.

And Tiana's (The Princess and the Frog) dress! It looks like a lilypad! But a bit too poofy for me. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/__kA16vnWHH0/SXEsw74e2sI/AAAAAAAABgI/bc0Lj8dX PWA/s1600-h/PrincessAndTheFrog2009.jpg

(I know this isn't Disney) but I liked Anastasia's golden, sparkly, dress with the blue ribbon during "Once Upon a December".

Esmeralda's red dress at the Festival of Fools, Mulan's pink matchmaker dress, Tiana's blue dress at Lottie's costume party, Auroa's peasant dress, and um....there was one more I really liked...oh!! Anastasia's blue dress at the Ballet! (Again, she's not a Disney princess, but I love her!)

Definitely Cinderella's silvery white ball gown. Surprised that no one else has listed it as a favorite so far.

Jazmine's outfits all of them
Meg's off the shoulder purple dress
and even though she isn't a princess Jessica Rabbit's style. I adore the classic femme fatale style of the 1930s-1950s era.

Anastasia is NOT A DISNEY movie for the last time!

Cinderella (1950) has the best attention to Costume Design, all the details are beautiful- from her white silver ball gown, to the dress the mice make, to her work clothes- its impeccable.

cinderella's dress is nice because it sparkles but without that, it wouldn't interest me as much. but i can't help think that the glass shoes could do some damage to her feet. Imagine if she tripped on the stairs and it smashed on her foot? not to mention uncomfortable to wear

i like the idea of aurora's outfit being the peasant dress, i think it suited her most of all and she only had her lines and songs wearing it so that is a good idea. i don't like jasmine's clothing as it is more of a tacky representation of mid eastern clothing which annoys me (it is unusual because it isn't a traditional dress but i still don't like it) and i don't like snow white's dress at all. too childish, she looks about 12 compared to the others

I'm biased for my favorite Disney princess, Pocahontas--her one-shoulder, deer-skinned dress is, shall we say--"New World Hip". She's so sexy. Entertainment Weekly actually gave Pocahontas the highest score out of all the princesses' dresses: dubbing her the "Angelina Jolie" of them all. Which makes sense: she's the toughest, most exotic and often divisive princess. She has edge, basically.

I also like Tiana's green "post-wedding" dress, after her and Prince Naveen marry as frogs? It's such a beautiful color!, and FUN shapes!

Charlotte's pale blue dress (I know Tiana wore it but it's actually Lottie's), Snow White's princess gown (although, maybe i'm weird, but I LOVE her servant dress! I also always found Cinderella's and Aurora's peasant dresses cute too).

Ariel's blue dress would have been pretty cute without that huge bow.

and yes, I LOOOOVE the yellow Anastasia dress. it's so glowy.

Out of all the dresses, I really like:

- Elsa's "snow queen" dress
- Anna's green coronation gown
- All of Tiana's dresses (even the blue one that Charlotte lets her borrow)
- Jasmine's red slave outfit (it's not really a dress, but it looks SO damn good on her!)
- Aurora's blue/pink dress
- Esmeralda's red festival dress
- Jane's white sleeveless top with the long red skirt
- All of Belle's dresses

I love Cinderella's ball gown (more from the Roger and Hammerstein's version) and I also like Belle's gown. I really think blue and gold are great colors in dresses.

I also loved Belles winter dress with the Cape in crimson.
