I like Snow White a lot more! But when I was little it was the other way around. :)

shareSnow White and Cinderella both have some things in common with each other:
Snow White is a princess whereas Cinderella is of an influential family.
Both have fathers who died shortly after marriage to their stepmothers - Snow White's father was poisoned by her stepmother (read the official book) whereas Cinderella's father dies from illness.
After their fathers' deaths, both are forced by their stepmothers to become servents in their own home.
But Cinderella, unlike Snow White, is able to stand up to her stepmother when affirming her right to attend the ball.

She only kind of did, when she brought the invitation to her step-mother and her sisters were making fun of her wanting to go. She said that she didn't see why you shouldn't go, being a member of the family. I think this was what was meant as affirming her right to go to the ball.

wrong-she definitely stands up to her stepmother. Hence the dialogue "I am a part of this household and the invitation says every elligible maiden"-research before you post-it hides the ignorance :-)
shareCinderella. I don't know why, but Snow White always annoyed me. I didn't care for the movie growing up and I don't have any nostalgic feelings for it now. The same goes for Dumbo, but Snow White is the only Disney Princess I don't like.
Whereas Cinderella gives me a lot of fond memories because it's my mom's favorite movie, so I grew up with her appreciation for it. She gets the edge for me, although Ariel is my favorite Disney princess.

I like both, while I feel Snow White is underrated, Cinderella has more of a personality. I will say as a film Snow White is my personal favourite of the two though.

I'm proceeding on the assumption we're talking about the title characters, rather than the movies (but correct me if I'm wrong)!
I'm such a nitpicker, I have to break it down by categories.
APPEARANCE: Hmm, this is hard, since I'm a brunette (or used to be, lol), so my natural tendency is to side with SW--however, there's just something about C's smile, so Round 1--Cinderella
BRAINS: While Disney's SW is not as hopelessly stupid as the Grimm Brothers'--three times the wicked queen shows up at the dwarves' cottage, and three times, count' em, three times that moron lets her in! ("Oh, hello, Third Disguised Peddler-Woman in a Row, I'm sure YOU won't try to kill me the way the last two did")--she doesn't seem overly bright, either...maybe she's less stupid and more innocent and gullible...still, C seems more resourceful. Here's an example: when she's trapped in her garret room because Lucifer won't let the mice give her the key, she suddenly tells the birds, "Go get Bruno!" Round 2--Cinderella
VOICE: Let's see... squeaky, brittle, overly-trained coloratura soprano versus mellow, pleasant, warm mezzo-soprano. A matter of taste, but I'd definitely give Round 3 to--Cinderella
Winner in 3/3 Categories--CINDERELLA!
Of course, there are other possible categories (such as Personality, Costumes, etc.) but I have a feeling I'd still go with Miss C.
