Probably his best performance. I love how he kept his composure til the very end while the other killer was being ate alive with guilt.

Being the movie was made in 1948, it was an obvious joke, and very funny. But it points to the formula for how men and women are primarily chosen in Hollywood... you can find quite a lot of lookalikes in the industry amongst both sexes... sure there are standouts, but there is a definite form they look for, and I don't mean just "attractive", but very specific characteristics. Again, that's obvious too... I'm on a roll.
