Who supports her husband through thick and thin and doesn't care how much he makes as long as he does the right thing?

Quality marriage material is much harder to find today versus then. It's not even a matter of passing up good looks. Most of the women I came across in college were scary in terms of character. I'm sure that women are seeing the same problem in men. High school is probably better today as fewer people rush into marriage as most simply are not prepared mentally for it.

You can find a supportive spouse almost anywhere. My wife and I don't go to church, and we stand by one another no matter what.
