Can you find a wife like Mary today?
Who supports her husband through thick and thin and doesn't care how much he makes as long as he does the right thing?

Unfortunately, that's very unlikely, MajDutch.
The cancer of feminism has influenced most women today to believe that they must be masculine and act like men. Of course, women who follow that kind of warped mindset are completely undesirable to all men.
I.e. Just look at hilary clinton - one of the most unwomanly "women" of all-time, yet also one of the most popular - although I personally don't consider hilary to be either a woman or a she...but hilary is generally looked upon as a "woman role model" . With someone like hilary as the model for what a woman is, that's a telltale sign that society is all fubared to Hell and that nowadays real women are very scarce.
Yes. She sure as hell won't be as picture-perfect as Donna Reed, but you can't have everything.
shareDid we watch the same film? Mary got the life she wanted while George had to put all his dreams behind him. George wanted to live an extravagant life. Mary even made a wish to live in the home she knew George thought was a dive right after he said it was his dream to see the world. She basically wished for all Georges dreams not to come true. Mary was the first one to suggest they gave their honeymoon money away, she seemed very excited to stay home.
Hot and sweet? Probably.

shareI've got a better one for you...can I find a husband like George Bailey??
shareI did and I we have been through some tough times the last 4 years. Married 36 years this past August. I am not as naturally as giving and selfless as she is ( I can be under the right circumstances) which makes it all the more remarkable.
