Okay, so why go through the whole thing in the first place? Why would the cops think that Al killed Haskell in the first place? There would be no evidence that Al killed him.
Then, of course, everything just goes nuts from there.
My question is if Vera thinks Al killed Haskell, why do she display absolutely no fear of him? If Al were a real killer, he would have just murdered her on the spot.
