Mine is 5/10.
shareGreat for you. Enjoy Transformers and The Avengers.
shareThe Avengers.
Hmmm. I've enjoyed Nosferatu, The Avengers, AND Transformers. Does your post imply that one can not enjoy ALL different types of films and still be worthy in your eyes to post here?

Oh wow you like Nosferatu? You must be very smart.
shareI gave it a 4/10. I'm a big movie fan and even enjoy many silent films, but I don't get what people like about this one.
I will say the cinematography is great, Max Shrek's performance is decent, the make up job for him is good as well, and I admire this for its influence for being the first vampire film. However, the problems I had was that there was nothing interesting in terms of characters or story, and some of the acting (particularly for the protagonist Hutter) was too hammy. It couldn't hold my attention very well.
9.75/10.
shareI couldn't get into it. Too dated for me.
It doesn't help I saw the 1979 remake first not to mention a shit tonne of Dracula films.
I prefer Vampyr (1932) over this.
'79 remake is better in my view and I don't typically like remakes that stick so close to the original. But both of them are very campy. Although, they stick closer to Bram Stoker's book than most Dracula/vampire films, they're still a little hard to watch for what today's audiences are accustomed to. Very dated stuff... but I think most of us can appreciate this film for what it is. Without it we probably don't have the horror films of today.
share8/10 from me.
shareA 6 is a little high considering this movie had zero racial diversity in it. Hopefully the 2024 version coming up address's this issue
