Got exactly what he deserved…

imo we as a society take for granted the sacrifices our men and women in blue provide for us, not to mention the weight some if not most carry through living with severe ptsd from the many traumatic experiences they endure.
How many officers have been gunned down or shot at or seen their partner gunned down or shot at, just approaching a vehicle during a traffic stop.
So when that officer orders you to roll down your window because your tint is midnight/mirrored black, and they just want to feel safe while they conduct their business and you give them shit about it and then roll it back up, whatever happens after that,
YOU ASKED FOR IT SUCKA!

Tyreek was a total arrogant asshole, no doubt, and he deserved to get arrested, and probably would have been if he was not later recognized as a Miami Dolphin. Obviously the first few officers were not Dolphins fans!

It's unfortunate that the officers didn't show more self-restraint, because absolutely 100% Tyreek was completely in the wrong with his arrogant disobedience.

But then, just like with George Floyd, the cops go ballistic and beyond what's necessary to control the suspect.

If people would just OBEY THE POLICE, none of this crap happens. But it still doesn't excuse their lack of self-control and self-discipline to avoid turning violent. You need to have thicker skin and more control if you're going to be a cop. I'm surprised that even with body-cams running, they still act inappropriately. It does make you sadly wonder what happened in the days before bodycams.

I agree with everything you said.
The officers should have acted with more self control, no argument there and their actions will surely put another stain on the police force, that being said, the police will never be social workers, they will never be ubiquitously aware and sensitive to cultural differences as well as to individuals struggling with mental health related issues. The point being, we can always do better, but that onus falls just as heavily on people being pulled over by the police, as Tyreek found out, you poke a lion, you better be prepared to get bit, and do not expect me or anyone else to feel sorry for you when you do.
But of course he’s playing the entitled victim and will most likely win millions in a settlement.

I agree with everything you said! Yeah as if he doesn't have enough millions, he'll pick up many more once his lawyer is done licking his chops.

I agree "poke a lion and expect to get bitten", but those on the other side of the argument don't feel that cops should act like lions, and I have to admit they have a point. SELF CONTROL is ESSENTIAL.

Fault on both sides here. I hate to sound childish with a "Tyreek started it!" argument, but if Tyreek simply follows directions, leaves the window down, stops worrying about someone taking his picture, and stops mouthing off the cops, he's easily on his way in a few minutes without incident.

But he chose to escalate the situation, and the cops lacked self-control. SIGH. George Floyd, Rodney King, here we go again, like a broken record. And the media just eats up yet another "racial divide" story.
