Good move by her in dropping out of Scream 7

She was never going to truly be the main character with Sidney around and she has bigger and better projects that she can do. The Beetlejuice film will do far more for her career.

Sidney wasn't in the last movie and very likely wouldn't have been in 7 had Melissa Barrera not been fired and Ortega dropped out. I'd agree if you'd said Sam instead of Sidney.

You have it backwards IMO. Good move for Scream 7 with Ortega dropping out and Barerra fired. The generic looking pretty faced newbies were terrible and the writing has sucked with these last few movies. I'm hoping with a cast change up and the focus back on fan favorite Sidney maybe it might improve.
