I saw the interview. The interviewer NEVER mentions the question comes from a gay fan. He also said it with a straight (hehe) face.

"What do you look for in a partner?"
"Male or female?"

The question implies romantic partner. Not friendly partner or business partner. Unless they edited out something or there's an Australian terminology in the term "partner" I don't know about, this seems to imply that he goes both ways.

Again, it's still vague. Does it matter if he was?

1. He has an ex girlfriend, whose name is Jessica Campion - look her up and see their pics - They break up because he moved to the USA.

What a bigoted remark! So you're saying that he can't be bisexual because bisexual guys don't have girlfriends? Are you saying that there's no such thing as bisexual men?

Bisexual or not, Brenton probably knows that this speculation is getting him publicity.

But oddly, this interview was done back in September. Why is the media just noticing it now?

I said nothing about what you've said on the above. Don't put in my mouth what you've said yourself - idiot

The fact is, whether he had a girlfriend or not is irrelevant to the claim of bisexuality. It would only be relevant if it were being claimed that he was gay, and you brought it up as if it was being claimed that he was gay. There's a lot of bigoted people, in the straight and gay community, that will claim that there is no such thing as bisexuality, that it's just a stepping stone to complete homosèxuality.

I am more than certain that he didn't mean for the joke to come out as a hint to his sexuality.

There's a term for what he did... QUEERBAITING. It's something that actors/musicians do to tease their queer fans and to get attention. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing. So, either he is being serious, or he is deliberately queerbaiting.

Read my post, and read the hothits thing again. The text is different, it wasn't copied and pasted from my post.

Also, I found that link at Datalounge, so it's more likely that the people at hothits (if they were indeed the first ones to run the story) found it there, too.
