"Oath and Honor" by Liz Cheney

Excerpted from "Oath and Honor" by Liz Cheney
page 137 ( statement made by Liz Cheney on Jan 12th 2021 )

"On January 6th 2021 a violent mob attacked the
United States capitol to obstruct the process of our
democracy and stop the counting of the Presidential
Electoral votes.

This insurrection caused injury, death, and destruction in
the most sacred space in our republic. Much more will
become clear in the coming days and weeks, but what we
know now is enough.

The President of the United States summoned this mob,
assembled this mob and lit the flame of this attack.
Everything that followed was his doing.

None of this would have happened without the President.
The President could have immediately and forcefully
intervened to stop the violence. He did not.

There has never been a greater betrayal by a President
of the United States of his office and his oath to the
Constitution.

I will vote to impeach the President.

Rep. Liz Cheney’s (R-WY) net worth ballooned from an estimated $7 million when she first took office in 2017 to possibly more than $44 million in 2020, according to analysis from the Center for Responsive Politics and her most recent financial disclosure forms.

Depending on where she falls in the ranges in her latest financial disclosure forms, that could represent as much as a 600 percent increase in her net worth in just a few short years in Congress–a massive boom for an already-independently wealthy political scion of the powerful Cheney family which counts among its most powerful her father, former Vice President of the United States Dick Cheney.

During Cheney’s first term in office, from 2017 to 2018, her net worth grew from the 71st ($7,036,013) to the 24th ($14,710,513) wealthiest member in the U.S. House of Representatives, the Center for Responsive Politics analysis shows.

I guess you are making the point that she never grifted as much as Donald Trump, so she's the loser?

reply

Hey, being the daughter of a War Criminal is VERY profitable.

Making money in America is a bad thing... how? and since when??

reply

It's totally lies.

It was not an insurrection. You don't come to an insurrection unarmed, with old ladies.

There was one death: an unarmed protestor shot by a cop.

The President of the United States, Trump, cautioned the protestors to remain peaceful. He offered additional National Guard security, but Democrats turned it down.

The greatest betrayal by a President of the United States has been Biden's refusal to control the U.S.-Mexico border.

Someone who lies like you is not worth reading or discussing with.
That Trump wink-wink bullshit sticks on you like skunk, which you are.
