I can even say "in retrospect" as it was clearly a politically motivated, rather than scientific decision in the first place, but the obvious craziness of his ban has now been overturned.

Not sure if I would want to go back there in any case if I was him...

Say what you like about him but that's an incredible open, forgiving spirit he's showing given the way he was treated. Great to see him there, seemingly happy and showing no bitterness.
