speaks five languages

Serbian, English, German, Italian, and French. Very impressive.

reply

In my opinion, he is also the finest representative of the sport to date.

reply

i love watching him play, and like any sane person i have huge respect for his talent & dedication.

but dang, i can't get past some of his silly, kooky new age beliefs.

it doesn't tarnish his accomplishments, but i can't help but think it diminishes him a little as a tennis ambassador.

reply

Your probably right in that regard. I’m more speaking of his attitude and presence on court.

reply

Oh yeah absolutely. No question about that. He deserves all the credit in the world. Though I think you can probably say the same things about Nadal and Federer as well

He also speaks Croatian and Bosnian (basically they're the same language as Serbian if that's matter, lol).

reply

yes they are all Yugoslavian with different accents. after yugo fell apart each country claimed there own language as the own but really they are so similar

reply

I'm Serbian as well, but Croatian and Bosnian are like 98,5% similar of my language. I only hardly remember the names of the months in Croatian. in Serbian and Bosnian, we usually say January, but in Croatian, it says Sijecanj for example.

reply

yeah its kind of like going down south in USA when u live up north ur whole life there are new words people use down there that u have to learn for stuff

reply

Yes, but that's not that unusual in Europe. But some said Melania spoke 5 languages, but when you actually heard her speak it was beginner phrases at best. She knew Slovenian and some English and faked the rest.
I mean I know about 8 languages at beginner level.
