Agreed...I don't care about her weight because Melissa McCarthy has been hilarious in some of her roles..Rebel is just unfunny in everything she is in.

I agree with you. She is only on our screen due to Hollywood casting people who still think Aussies are 'exotic'.

After living and working in Australia for a few years I can say there are a _lot_ of very funny Aussie comedians who are all so much funnier than Wilson you wouldn't believe it. So why is she sliming up our screens? I guess she got here 1st.

Then again why do we need foreign comics (good or bad) when we have a lot of excellent Americans who can do the job even better? This whole 'exotic' fad is doing a lot of harm.

Wow such a typical loser reply. Americans should play Americans - just like Aussies should play Aussies and Chinese should play Chinese etc etc. It seems crazy to me to willingly screw up your show by casting a foreign actor in a role that isn't foreign (ie a Brit to play an American or the other way round).

Aussies are _not_ American and you can't pull off believable American accents and the same is true in most every other combo. You can pretend I'm playing the 'arrogant seppo' card if it makes you feel better but Aussie actors have no place playing any nationality but Aussie coz the fact is they can't do it.
