Truly, I enjoy 30 Rock but when Cerie shows up her frail frame really disturbs me. I noticed that they stopped writing story lines around her too, probably because of how she looks now.
She was such a beautiful girl and she can't last much longer like this. It's really sad to watch. Step in NBC and bring back the old Cerie!
The poster did not say 70% of high school girls suffer from anorexia, but from an eating disorder. Anorexia is an eating disorder, but not all eating disorders are anorexia.
Now, I'm not saying that the statement is true (nor that it's not... I just don't know), but to say that 70% suffer an eating disorder is a lot more believable that 70% suffer from anorexia, IMO.
And girls (or boys) who suffer from eating disorders aren't necessarily heavier or skinnier than anyone else. They may have no visible signs whatsoever.
