Satan's Machine
The internet is a great device for so many things, allowing so many people to communicate with each other, do research, study history, discuss MOVIES(like here).
But sometimes, it is Satan's Machine.
Think of all the school shooters -- and other mass shooters -- who idolize EARLIER mass shooters on the internet, post about them, and try to "beat their numbers" of victims the next time.
Or think of all the mass shooters who now use "political issues" on the internet to justify THEIR murders. (Some children in a rural California school were shot by a nutcase over "Palestine." Because he read about it on the internet.) Satan's Machine.
And here with this murderer of "a CEO who deserved it," all manner of people who would NEVER had been allowed to communicate their love of this killer...get to...communicate their love of this killer.
Some of that cheering section is people who just get off on ACTING like a killer is their hero. These folks are just screwing with us, like always. But for many more, the killer IS their hero.
And if we didn't have Satan's Machine, their cheerleading messages for murder, would have been "letters to the editor" that get thrown in the trash and never read by anyone. Unless collected in files to investigate the writers.
Which is how I suppose Satan's Machine can also be used, now.
PS. A serious issue nonetheless: should murder be accepted as a proper means by which to affect policy change? Should policymakers give in to murder as lobbying?
