He won't be fired mid season but I see a mutual parting of ways happening. His legacy is very respected that I don't see him getting fired.
shareWow, the Patriots got smashed today. Honestly, Belichick's record without Brady is not very impressive. Overrated coach maybe?
They won't fire him mid season though, but this is probably his last go at it in NE.
He's now moving on from New England but wants to keep coaching.
shareWhere do we reckon he'll go? San Diego seems like a possible landing point. Chicago would be another.
shareI just hope we see New England break boundaries by hiring a black female head coach
shareAn even better scenario would be if they do exactly that, she leads them to a division title, and in a press conference the day before the first playoff game, she pulls off her wig, wipes away her makeup, and reveals herself to be Bill Belichick. He Tootsied / Mrs. Doubtfired them!
shareI’m not a Patriots fan, but I think he earned the right to stay there as long as he wanted.
shareNah. NFL is a buisness and he wasn't producing results.
shareNo one is going to produce the results he had over the last 20 years. You have to keep that in mind when you replace someone. Based on what he did with that organization. He deserved a bit of leeway to rebuild. The only reason there were any expectations was because of him.
