She literally claimed it was due to eating a particular type of Japanese potatoes (google it, she gives other reason for looking different).
I don't buy any of her explanations though. Especially when you look at really recent photos. I don't believe it to be cheek implants. I think it's just heavy use of fillers.
Such a shame because she was beautiful before.
