Just because he's muscular doesn't mean he's on steroids. Steroids have all kinds of side effects, like: veiny arms, unnatural muscle development, hair loss, shrinking of testicles, behavioral changes (it basically messes up your hormones), blood pressure problems and it even heightens your cholesterol. There have been several people who dropped dead from a heart attack at a relatively young age because of steroid abuse.

There have been those that use a steroids to simply boost their muscle development, but the line between use and abuse is thin, not to mention the fact there are so many different steroids you basically have to be an expert if you want to get the right results. Even then it's still russian roulette. With Kellan being a young upcoming actor I doubt he would mess with this stuff. Word would get out very quickly plus the downsides too many compared to the gains.

The progress he made is attainable through a high protein diet and consistent weight training. Remember, he built his physique over the years. It's not something that just fell out of the sky. This guy had to train long and hard to get where he is now. Also, even though he's very buff, his muscles aren't short (a telltale sign of steroid use.) He basically started working on his physique around the end of 2006 (when he filmed the movie Stick It with Missy Peregrym). Now, 5 years later, this is where he ended up. Not so hard to believe, is it? All it takes is the right training approach, persistance and dedication.

He's not even big! Everyone always questions steroids anytime someone is in shape. Get off the couch fatty.

Ok, NO. I don't think he's on steroids... have you ever googled pics of this guy. Hey's always running with his dog and diung pull ups on bars and stuff. He excersises like a maniac. He takes pride in the way he looks.

I've heard suggestions that many of the most ripped guys in Hollywood were using steroids to cheat... It certainly made me wonder what the truth is.

And what are the differences between the two? You cant just make a statement like that, not back it up, and expect us to take your word for it.
