A NEAR-death experience in the water as a child has kept him high and dry, but Alex O'Loughlin's blooming romance with professional surfer Malia Jones will soon send him into the waves once more.
The Hawaii Five-0 hottie showed off the new love of his life at Tuesday's GQ awards, saying they are madly in love.

"I have fallen for a beautiful Hawaiian woman," he told Confidential.

"I'm a very lucky guy and very happy at the moment. She's amazing."

I googled this girl last night...just out of curiosity... and one of the first pics that came up was a pic of her completely naked with her surf board....classy.

I shouldn't judge...she's probably an awesome person. But having naked pics of yourself on the internet? questionable.

But if she makes Alex happy. Thats the main thing

So its been established that it is Malia Jones....... my question is why would he not be dating this woman? She's gorgeous and athletic....kinda like a female Alex......same with the nudity - no one complains that Alex runs around shirtless and sometimes pantless in his roles - so why cast stones at her for nude shots.....not like she did xxx porn.
If I looked like that I would be naked all the time.

I agree, LaHagela. I haven't seen this surfboard pic that was mentioned, but that is common now. Look how many women pose nude on the cover of GQ -- and other magazines -- with various objects placed in strategic places. She is gorgeous woman.

and you're both right...I wasn't "casting stones" per se. I did say I shouldn't judge her. I just think there are other ways to be sexy than to post nude pics of yourself online. But thats just my opinion...it wasn't really meant to offend anybody. and yes, i'm not ignorant to the fact that women have posed nude on covers of mags before with things strategically placed, but thats just it, their privates were covered. To me, leaving something to the imagination is more sexier than showing all you've got. I guess I shouldn't have jumped the gun on implying she was "unclassy". She is a very beautiful woman. And the photo didn't look like a candid, it looked like it was a photoshoot.

And as for the fact that no one seems to mind when Alex runs around with no shirt or nude in his roles...well duh!!! lol....but being serious now, I think thats because it's not very often we see men nude in movie roles now-adays, unless you're watching porn. We might get a male butt shot here and there but it's always women who are shown nude in movies 90% of the time. Just something that irks me, thats all.

It's really just boobs that you can see, and yes it's a photo shoot, so hey she was paid. I honestly don't see anything wrong, some people draw the line at nudity and I draw it at porn. Personally I don't see anything wrong with tasteful nudes, but again some people don't think such a thing exists. Most of the ancient greek and roman statues were nude. If you have a nice body and someone wants to pay you to take some photos, go for it, my niece was the flavor of the month in playboy, she's a college senior with a 4.0 average and in a 3+ year relationship and that money paid for her school. She's not going to school to be a kindergarten teacher so it's not like it's going to stigmatize her down the road.

Only drawback for Alex is his son and father can google her and see the goods, poor kid won't be able to stop staring at her now because he knows whats under the clothes.
