My first thought was that this could be a set up by Harvey Weinstein against one of the women who exposed his rape of her and other women. Bennett made his allegation a few months after Argento came out against Weinstein.
Whether or not that's true, it may have been inappropriate for Argento to have consensual sex with a 17-year-old. But if they had waited a few months it would have been fine.
To say that she owes this creep money over this is ludicrous.
