Ong Bak 3

Just seen it yesterday in Bangkok. IMHO a horrible movie, bad acting, bad fighting, stupid scenery, ridiculous story and so on. Tony Jaa plays ancient superfighter to save a small village, gets beaten up to near death at the beginning. Is healed with the superpower from a Buddhist monk and then trains up for some c class fighting scenes at the end. The acting of the bad guys are even worse than Tony's. Maybe my Thai friends rate it a 5 or 4 but I would rate it 2 or even 1. I do not know how Tony can descend that low, a 10000$ production can do better.

That's really hard to believe. The trailer looked so good, it's really a disappointment to hear that it's so bad (according to you guys). I really hope he can pick the ball up, he's the next great martial arts star and needs to continue a long standing legacy.

I was disappointed in Ong Bak 2. Bought the DVD and haven't watched all of it.

At least I have Ong Bak 1 and The Protector to get my fix.

Interesting that Ong Bak 2 and Ong Bak 3 were both directed by Tony and sucked!

Sadly is true, its a very lack luster film, its very slow paced to the point where it just gets boring, the fight scenes are very easy to forget compared to his previous films and they bring in elements that just dont fit with what theyve established.

I was REALLY dissapointed.
