When did you become a fan?

I thought he was adorable in the High School musical movies. Wasn't a fan really, until 17 Again. He seemed to be poking fun at his persona and it made him more likable. Neighbors made me like him even more. Channing Tatum did the same for me in 21 Jump Street.

I first noticed him and his appeal when he did the High School Musical films. I didn't really jump on the bandwagon until HSM 2 was released. It wasn't until 17 Again was released, where I really became a fan, and found he had great potential as a heartthrob while also being a decent actor. Though, I did have my concerns if he would be able to crossover into more adult oriented roles, and make a smooth transition while doing so.

Thus far, he has played his cards right. For every couple of duds, he's made it up with a few critically praised indie films and a blockbuster or two. We'll see how he fares after riding off of the success from his latest film, Neighbors.

I thought the highschool musical films were hella corny but I became a fan with 17 Again, he was really good in that. And I also thought he was good in Charlie St.Cloud. His best dramatic performance so far in my opinion. But from what I'm seeing so far he's a natural with comedy. I mean he never disappoints in that genre. 17 Again, That Awkward Moment, Neighbors, and the small role he had in Liberal Arts all had me cracking up.

I thought he was cute in High School Musical but then I saw him in Hairspray and I became obsessed. I'm not obsessed anymore but I still like him.

He's in more adult movies now
