I wish this prosecution would have been as transparent as the prosecution of Kyle Rittenhouse. With Rittenhouse, the public was able to see the actual evidence being used against him.

When you're dealing with the Feds it's a different story. As we all saw with Michael Flynn, the FBI has ways of exerting pressure on you to cop to something you didn't do in order to avoid the threat of something larger.

Also, if this case was tried in open court, it would have answered the question (or put to bed the rumors) that this guy was some kind of plant to make Trump supporters look bad.
