I can't put my CDs in my IPad there's no slot for them like there was on my PC.

Sorry - you probably didn't mean for that to be funny.
You do need a computer to upload your CDs to iTunes. I was late to iPods, but when I finally got one a few years ago, I uploaded all my CDs to iTunes, and then put them on my iPod (and then onto my iPad).
Using your computer, you have to create an iTunes account. Then you can upload CDs there. When you connect your iPad to your computer, you can sync them so everything goes onto you iPad.
