First time I watched this channel. Mentions many of the Harvard academics he hung out with. Some of these facts also on Wikipedia. Epstein was a math genius, but dropped out of college (so did Bill Gates).
Alex Jones was the first one suspicious of Epstein.
Maybe one of the most enigmatic(but well known) criminals of our time. Similar to Bernie Madoff, he tried to lure investors by setting the ceiling very high - asking for a minimum of one billion to invest with his company. He sought adoration from other scientists/physicists, maybe because he was an excellent mathematician?
Epstein didn't like to be challenged, because he really was an "intellectual impostor". When he realized the Feds were really going to nail him to the wall his ego couldn't take it, so he killed himself. His will states he had about 500 million but he was never going to be free to spend his money again.
Ultimately, Epstein turned out to be an unlikable and annoying creep.
You don't get into a prestigious mathematics school unless you're a genius. Doesn't say why he didn't graduate, he could have been a professor. More money in finance. I doubt he "sought adoration", he simply wanted to be part of academia again.

The Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences (CIMS) is an independent division of New York University (NYU) under the Faculty of Arts & Science that serves as a center for research and advanced training in computer science and mathematics. It is considered one of the leading and most prestigious mathematics schools and mathematical sciences research centers in the world.[1] It is named after Richard Courant, one of the founders of the Courant Institute and also a mathematics professor at New York University from 1936 to 1972.
Maybe one of those genius types at math but not so good at almost everything else, especially social skills. His trying to lure investors for a minimum of one billion really sticks in my mind as a Bernie Madoff type sociopath/psychopath.
