If her family lives in Burbank, CA, why is she matriculating at NYU? There are plenty of fine university Schools of Drama on the west coast, and living in New York City is a bit too much like having a colonoscope shoved permanently up to your ileocecal valve.

i definitely admire her and i think that she made an excellent decision. I mean, most of the girls who seem talented and start an acting career so youbng end up alcoholic, etc. Plus, she lost her mother so young. that makes it even more difficult.
I hope she returns as a better actress in a great production soon.

many people go across country for college

NYU has one of the best theatre schools in the nation, it's right up there with julliard, valencia school of the arts, and university of cincinnati's CCM. and who knows maybe she just wanted to move away from her family and try life on her own for a while. i did the same thing. i moved 6 states away and i loved being on my own where no one knew my entire life story.
