why is his accent so different from Schwarzenegger's?

Are accents within the country very diversified? Btw, I don't know anything at all about the nuances of how German is spoken, but it was a real treat watching Arnold use it in The Escape Plan.

Mostly because Walz is a much better actor than Schwartzeneger.
I hugely doubt Schwartzeneger will be ever capable to reach Waltz's diction performances.

In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
