How did two middle-class American nerd boys become gender-dysphoric SF movie directors? I bet there are all sorts of horrible skeletons in the Wachowski closet. Has David Lynch retired? He'd be perfect.

I guess you're right. I imagine their home life made "Eraserhead" look like "The Wonder Years".
