Supergirl TV-series

I agree. When Smallville ended and Kara was sent into the future with the Legion I thought that it would be perfect for a more superhero-centric spinoff series.

I liked that she appeared as a villain in SuperGirl though, nice to see her pop up :)

They were planning SuperGirl with Laura for years. She kept turning down projects because the CW kept telling her it was going to happen. Finally she got tired of waiting and decided to move on. She was offered her current TV Show Bitten. After production had started, SuperGirl was greenlight but Laura had to turn it down due to current TV Series. Least to say she was not a happy person that it all turned out like this.

Bet it was a Homer Simpson "DOH!" -moment in the production company too, when they realized they delayed too long.

Although, Melissa Benoist does a rather good job playing this kind of Supergirl they wrote her to be. If the show tanks, it's not because of her. I would point at the not so interesting episode plots.

She plays Indigo on the new supergirl, a villian at the end of season one.

Someone mentioned this already, but MY GOD, she looks even MORE GORGEOUS now then she did on Smallville (and she looked super hot already).

Did you see her recently on Private Eyes? The wardrobe department must have been paid extra to try to make her look unattractive and failed miserably.
