What's the purpose of skipping out on debates?

I mean he did do debates with Biden last time. I guess it's because he learned from past experience and figures he might "lose" if he shows up again.

It's a strategic move. It's pretty bold but it seems to be working. He remains way ahead in the polls and his voters don't seem to care if he does the debates or not, so why risk messing up in a debate?

If he were to make it through the primary season, you can count on him avoiding debates with President Biden as well. tRump's handlers don't want voters to know how confused he is about everything.

He's crazy and senile. He gets worse all the time. If he makes it through the primary season, he will avoid debating President Biden also.

Trump knows debating all those losers is pointless and honestly, most Republicans aren't interested in supporting them. It's become pretty clear that most of the Republican candidates besides Trump don't stand a snowball's chance in hell at either winning the presidency next year, and even if they did, they would be turned into a lame duck president immediately by the Establishment and get nothing done for 4 years. Unlike Trump, most of them don't have the balls or support to fight back, and some are just "controlled opposition."

Trump is only ahead in the GOP primary polls. Biden is leading everywhere else and Trump will embarrassed when he's forced to leave the election when he's put into jail just because he's a traitor.
