I read on the Vampire Diaries trivia that Ashley was offered a role and turned it down. I wonder which one and why she'd turn it down? Especially if it was a main character.
Of course, her other show got kind of screwed (Hellcats) on CW, so maybe that's why. Or maybe it was just a one-episode deal, I don't know.
She got more cache from appearing on Sons of Anarchy than she could from any vampire show.
