Race most certainly did play a part in his sentencing.

He created a fake hate crime based on race.

The 'crime' against him was a fake hate crime. What he tried to pull off was very much a real hate crime.

No, it happened because you fucked up and broke the law.

Playing the race card has lost all meaning. 🙄

He just switched issues. The hate crime victim angle blew up, so he's now just another wrongfully convicted black guy (who might be offed while in custody, like a few other cases). He's still clamoring to be a crusader and champion of some social issue. Actual victims should be outraged by his attempt to co-opt both when neither is applicable.

This was completely inevitable. Progressives seem to desire victimhood, what a strange mentality, rather than trying to improve their lives they want to believe, or have other people believe they're in the gutter.
Also, thee black power salute - yuck!
